The brand adheres to the core concept of"replicating a thousand year old fragrance formula and rediscovering Eastern elegance, and has established a traditional fragrance making workshop in Xixi Wetland, Hangzhou,fully presening the six ancient methods of "selection, washing, steaming, sun drying, blending, and cellar".

Chen Songbai, who is over sixty years old, still stands up at the hour of Mao every day and grinds the hundred year old agarwood of Mount Limu in Hainan with a water mill. His movements are like flowing clouds and water, as if he has merged with the fragrant powder in his hand. The fra- grance making technique of Chen Songbai can be traced back to the late Ming Dynasty, and his ancestors established the "Three Noes Principle": no need to sieve, no need to mix, no need to dry or burn. He still uses the ancestral "water grinding method" to grind the fragrant powder to 200 mesh, with particles as fne as dust, but with hidden "aura" mysteries. He is not only skilled in the production of traditional reverse flow incense "Cloud Waterfall" but also innovates colorful incense seal script.
